BED AND BREAKFAST FRANCE * BED AND BREAKFAST ACCOMMODATION DORDOGNE * HOTELS IN FRANCE * DORDOGNE HOTELS ACCOMMODATION

Our weeks run from Wednesday to Wednesday to accomodate cheaper flights into Bergerac Airport, from Birmingham, Bristol, Exeter (from April 2006), Leeds/Bradford (from May 2006) and Southampton - all operated by Flybe.com, and Liverpool, East Midlands (from March 2006) and Stansted - operated by Ryanair. Free transfers to and from the Airport are provided by your host.

Prices start from £285 to £365 per person per week, and are all inclusive of copious amounts of food, drinks and onsite activities. (Please see Availability and Tariff Page for full details).

Breakfast is a 'help yourself' affair, with cereal, french bread and preserves, croissant, pain au chocolat, tea, coffee and fruit juice. Lunch and Dinner will include all the specialities of the region, including confit de canard, fois gras, salad perigordine and much more. After dinner challenges, insults and maybe even a sensible discussion are also on the menu.

Your accomodation provides you with all the amenities you will need during your stay. Eight of the bedromms open onto the impressive 19 metre figure of eight swimming pool where you can relax on the patio with the beverage of your choice - you know where it's kept, just help yourself.

If, after a tiring afternoon of doing nothing you feel you should justify the calories you are about to partake in, there is a nice little walk (or run - if you want to be silly!) just short of a mile meandering through the vines and woodland round the pond and straight back to the dinner table! This area is a paradise for lovers of wild life; hoopoe, heron, woodpeckers, buzzards, kestrels, deer, hare, lizards, frogs, toads and mosquitoes to name a few.

Our indoor badminton court, as well as being a great game in its own right, is an ideal arena for short tennis, especially when its too hot to play 'proper' tennis on our outdoor court, or if you get rained off (despite this being the perfect place for great summer weather, it does occasionally rain). All of the sports provided here are designed to keep you amused, however, don't worry about being railroaded into playing anything you don't want to.

Bent pins and a roll of thread, together with some stale bread, are provided to catch an abundance of carp, roach and tench in our well stocked pond, nothing beats an afternoon of 'worm drowning' or just watching the ducks swim by, in this idyllic spot set in one corner of our 40 acres.

Anyone for Snooker? Ok, its not the Crucible and its only a three-quarter size table, but judging by the standard of play I have seen here, a quarter size table would be too big (yours truly included). Guests bringing their own cue will be classed as professionals, and the dartboard is a useful tool for spotting those who spend too much time down the pub!

Every Saturday morning we do Clay Pigeon shooting, give it a go - it would cost you a fortune to try back home, and Mondays we have .22 Rifle shooting. This leaves Thursday morning free to visit the pretty town of Eymet and the traditional french market, just 10 minutes away.

Finally, I will finish with a little quote from I don't know who, but it fits us perfectly and although you may think it a little corny, I love it. "We have no strangers here, only friends you are yet to meet".

See you soon, we hope!
